My Neighbor Alice

My Neighbor Alice is a farming-themed play-to-earn builder game developed by Antler Interactive, a Swedish interactive mobile game studio. The game is built on Chromia blockchain and aims to introduce blockchain technology to a wide audience of players. Players can buy and own virtual islands, collect and build items, and interact with others in the game world. The central figure of the game is Alice, from whom players can purchase virtual real estate represented as NFTs.

Antler Interactive, the developer of My Neighbor Alice, was previously known as SVRVIVE Studios, a company known for its VR titles. In 2019, Antler Interactive was acquired by ChromaWay, a blockchain development company behind the Chromia blockchain. The game has received funding from various venture capital funds, including Coin98 Ventures and Kyros Ventures, as well as through an initial DEX offering (IDO) round on DAO Maker.

The game draws inspiration from popular titles like Animal Crossing for its daily tasks and social aspects, as well as Minecraft for its building mechanics. The artwork of the game is inspired by the Swedish children's book Pettson and Findus. My Neighbor Alice aims to cater to a diverse gaming community within the traditional gaming market, without requiring prior knowledge of cryptocurrency or blockchain technology.
