Linear Finance

Linear Finance is a decentralized delta-one asset protocol that enables the instant creation of synthetic assets with unlimited liquidity. By supporting the creation of "Liquids," which are synthetic asset tokens, Linear opens up traditional assets like commodities, forex, market indices, and other thematic sectors to cryptocurrency users.

The protocol includes various products, such as Linear.Buildr, a decentralized application (DApp) used to manage Liquids using Linear (LINA) and other tokens as collateral. It also features an exchange designed specifically for trading a variety of Liquids with rapid confirmation times and robust security.

LINA is the ERC-20 token built on the Ethereum network, serving as collateral for Liquids and for community governance of the protocol through the Linear DAO. Token holders have voting rights to participate in shaping the development of the Linear ecosystem.

Linear aims to provide a superior user experience with better scalability and speed through its cross-chain capabilities. It offers a simple solution for users seeking exposure to traditional assets while benefiting from blockchain technology's features.

The project was co-founded by Drey Ng and Kevin Tai, who have extensive experience in the fintech and economy sectors, respectively.

Key features that set Linear apart include its ability to access traditional assets, dynamic price feeds to address front-running issues, and a proposed liquidation mechanism decided through community governance.

The total supply of LINA tokens is 10 billion, with an inflationary system that decreases over time, subject to modification by the LinearDAO. Tokens are secured on the Ethereum network, leveraging its proof-of-work mining network.

LINA is available for trading on various centralized exchanges like BitMax and MXC, as well as decentralized exchanges like Uniswap, where it can be traded against Ethereum (ETH) and Tether (USDT), or wrapped Bitcoin (wBTC).

For those interested in purchasing LINA or other cryptocurrencies, centralized and decentralized exchanges provide avenues for trading.
