Bancor (BNT)

Bancor (BNT) is a decentralized ecosystem comprised of open-source protocols that facilitate on-chain trading and liquidity provision. At its core, the Carbon protocol serves as a decentralized trading platform enabling users to execute automated trading strategies using custom on-chain limit orders and range orders. These strategies can be tailored to include combinations of orders, empowering users to create automated buy-low, sell-high strategies.

One of the distinguishing features of Carbon orders is their irreversibility upon execution, making them resistant to manipulation such as Miner Extractable Value (MEV) sandwich attacks. Additionally, these orders can be easily adjusted directly on-chain, providing users with a high degree of control and automation for executing innovative trading strategies.

In addition to Carbon, Bancor's ecosystem includes the Fast Lane protocol, which facilitates arbitrage between Bancor ecosystem protocols and external on-chain exchanges. This enables users to redirect arbitrage profits back into the Bancor ecosystem, enhancing liquidity and efficiency.

All protocols within the Bancor ecosystem are governed by the BancorDAO, with governance decisions influenced by staked BNT tokens.

Overall, Bancor aims to provide a decentralized and efficient trading infrastructure that empowers users to engage in a wide range of trading strategies while ensuring liquidity and fairness within the ecosystem.
